Alums make a big impact at the University of Miami by giving back through a recurring gift.

CORAL GABLES, Fla. (February 20, 2015) – We first met at the University of Miami—over a cup of coffee at the campus Starbucks. The U is the foundation of who we are—our education, our professions, and our family. For that we are forever grateful.

We believe in this institution, and that’s why we give back.

It’s not the amount of the gift. For us it’s about staying connected. That’s why we make a monthly recurring contribution. A James W. McLamore Society gift may seem daunting for some, but a recurring gift of $83.33 monthly can make it affordable and attainable.

While the recognition and benefits are nice, they’re not why we give. We cherish our memories of meeting on campus—and we still enjoy Starbucks now and then. Just think, if all the UM alumni who aren’t yet donors gave the cost of just one cup of coffee monthly to their alma mater, the University would have an added $6.8 million in revenue each year!

As a local and global leader in higher education and research, it’s the role of this institution, and its alumni, to lead by example. Though we might not be able to make a major gift, we can make a major commitment.

Any gift, any size, anywhere makes a difference. Please consider making a great impact on the U. Register your recurring gift today online at miami.edu/makemygift or call 1-866-UMALUMS.
