Undergraduate Life

Schools, programs, and initiatives offer varied ways to support breakthroughs at the University of Miami

Undergraduate learning grounds a University of Miami education. To continue its upward trajectory and ever-improving quality, the University’s strategic plan calls for the strengthening of a distinctive and vibrant undergraduate experience that will allow the University to attract even more of the nation’s most accomplished high school students.

Resources raised by Momentum2 will improve facilities and programs that are essential to vital student life, including the Student Activities Center, the new Toppel Career Center, the Patti and Alan Herbert Wellness Center, and The Launch Pad. Key campaign priorities include support for the Office of Academic Enhancement, which strengthens a UM education through scholarships and other assistance, and the Office of Civic and Community Engagement, which applies academic study and inquiry to the enrichment of community life. Campaign funds will also support essential study abroad programs, undergraduate research opportunities, and a new University-wide health care career advising center.
