Steve Saiontz, M.B.A. ’84, M.P.S. ’12

Rosenstiel School of Marine and Atmospheric Science Campaign Chair

Steve Saiontz is a partner in the real estate firms Crimson Strategic Group, LLC, and Aqua Marine Partners, LLC. Previously he served as chairman of Union Bank of Florida, and as chief executive officer of LNR Property Corporation, a publicly traded multi-billion dollar real estate development and finance company that was originally spun off from Lennar Corporation. Prior to his tenure at LNR, Saiontz was president of Lennar Financial Services, Inc., a subsidiary of Lennar Corporation.

Committed to community involvement, Saiontz is a member and immediate past chair of the Council for Educational Change, a nonprofit organization that works to improve public education by developing talented school leaders. He is a two-time University of Miami alumnus, having earned graduate degrees from the School of Business Administration and the Rosenstiel School of Marine and Atmospheric Science, and is a member of the University’s Board of Trustees. His history of support for UM includes giving to the School of Business Administration and the Leonard M. Miller School of Medicine.
